Ethics Consultancy
I have acted as an ethics consultant to policymakers and industry partners, for instance recently as a member of a working group at the European Commission, where I gave advice on the ethics of digital communication, as a consultant to the German Parliament on the ethics of generative AI, and as a consultant to a premium car manufacturer on the ethics of autonomous driving. My areas of expertise include digital communication, good medical practice in healthcare and clinical trials, and the ethics of artificial intelligence.

Public Writing and Media
I regularly write articles for wider audiences. One such example is the piece I wrote for The Conversation on whether it's okay to manipulate people into getting vaccinated. European Policy
Since my undergraduate degree I have actively participated in groups working on European politics. I am intrigued by the political potential of the European continent, grateful for the benefits that it brought to my generation, and determined to help tackle today's challenges.
Scholar at the Europaeum Scholars Programme
During my doctorate, I was a Europaeum Scholar and attended eight four-day-long workshops on international politics, current societal challenges, and soft-skills training. On its website (https://europaeum.org), the Europaeum Scholars Programme is described as “a world-class programme designed to produce a new generation of leaders, thinkers, and researchers who have the capacity and desire to shape the future of Europe. It runs for two years alongside Scholars’ existing doctoral studies.”
Teaching Fellow at the Europaeum Scholars Programme
After completing the programme as a Scholar myself, I was employed as a Teaching Fellow for the Programme and continue to be so today. In this role, I lead group discussions on current societal challenges, such as inequality in society, privacy, and surveillance, and I also support and supervise the policy projects of current Scholars.
